WHAT'S VTG?

  • Annual, multi-sport, mass participation event
  • Up to 50 sporting and social events available to participants and teams
  • Events are tailored to host cities' capacity & capability
  • We pride ourselves on catering for all, with a smorgasbord of high and low intensity events to choose from.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

  • Over 2,500 teachers are expected to bring Geelong to life in September. 
  • Anybody employed by a school in Victoria (gov & non-gov) - including support staff, VIT registered teachers, casual & retired teachers, DET corporate staff and registered volunteers and sponsors of the event are eligible to attend VTG24.

Are you a DET corporate employee who is concerned about taking time off work?

  • As stated in the current Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement, leave with pay up to a maximum of two weeks in any two year period may be granted to an DET Corporate Employee to participate either as a competitor or an official at the Victorian Teachers' Games.

REGISTRATION & FEE INFORMATION

  • Registrations opened on Monday 3 June, 2019 at 7:00am and closed on Friday 23 August at 11:59pm.
  • The registration fee for VTG is $35 per individual, which is non-refundable.
  • Each sporting or social event you wish to be part of has its own applicable fee, ranging between $5 - $70.
